Darren gives a great, relaxing massage in a very comfortable, clean environment. The added touch of aroma therapy and hot towel treatment is nice. The oil he uses is non-greasy, and leaves skin feeling great after the appointment. Darren is great at light touch, as well as deeper tissue massage. He is quiet, but don't mistake that for being unfriendly; he is very sweet and charismatic.

This was one of the best massages I've had. Darren has a relaxing touch yet he's strong and uses good pressure. Makes you feel instantly comfortable. The massage is so relaxing that you simply get lost in the fluidity of his motions. Coupled with some soothing music in the background, it was 90 minutes of relaxation. I'm already looking forward to my next massage from him.

Seeing that he is a personal trainer and offered an interesting combo of personal training followed by massage, I decided to treat myself and give it a go. He took me to a complex gym located across the street from his studio. Darren is a well rounded and dynamic personal trainer. His personality is reflected in his workouts and made going to the gym a lot of fun. He showed me workouts to attack specific muscle groups, effective cardio routines, and proper form. After the training hour he brought me over to his studio for the massage I first must say the studio is beautifully done and smells amazing from the time you walk in. The massage table has to be one of the most comfortable ones I've been on and could have slept there all day. He was very quiet during the session allowing me to fall into a deep trance and the sounds he had playing were soothing and relaxing. The massage was everything I wanted and more. The use of a hot face towel along with the warm towel was a very nice touch. If you have not tried his services I highly recommend him, you won't be disappointed, not to mention if you have ever thought of a personal trainer. Try the training massage combo it was a great two hours and money well spent.

I had my first experience with Darren last week and will definitely be back. He was very responsive and was able to get me in on my preferred date and time. His studio is super clean and has a very relaxing ambiance. I honestly must say it was the most comfortable table I’ve been on. I stand and use my arms a lot for work, and also run and bike, and Darren was able to get all the knots out with his amazing strokes and pressure.

I was visiting Minneapolis and contacted Darren just after flying into town. He was quick to respond, and we set up something easily.
The reason I was inclined to write a review is because of the unique strokes he used. It was not the "digging for gold" technique some people use that is clumsy and harsh or the drill you with their elbows. He used fluid long strokes from my head to the base of my foot.
He applied pressure when it was needed, and he used soft strokes in between.
The ambiance was nice in that he had a dedicated massage space with a very comfortable table. But, the technique was what left me feeling amazing.
Darren scores highly in my book, and i would see him again should my travels include Minneapolis.

I have to agree with the other 5 star reviews, Darren provides a first class massage.
The space is clean. and the atmosphere is very nice.
He uses long strokes, feels your body out and then adds more pressure in specific areas. He takes his time and really makes the session about you. I honestly almost drifted off I was so relaxed. Nothing is rushed, it is meant to be full experience worth every penny.

1. I am a heavier guy and he has never made me feel awkward or other than. He has always been very supportive of my journey.
2. The massage is very good. He takes his time, focuses on the task at hand and I can count on him for a consistent experience.

I was in need of an escape and some “me” time during a trip visiting family and, after reading the positive reviews, I booked a 90 minute session. Darren certainly did not disappoint. His studio was clean and pleasant with a very comfortable table. I quickly relaxed with the calming sounds of rain in the background and his smooth long strokes. As the massage continued, it just kept getting better.

His technique is very long strokes from my feet to back and to shoulder. I really liked that and it was very relaxing. His space is very nice and was relaxing as well with nature sounds and a very comfortable table.
